Fizen

Saw Fizen in another app? Here is why

Fizen connects apps to banks. If you use an app that reads data from your account or lets you pay straight from your bank, it may work through us.

The Fizen screen when paying from a bank account: recipient Maciej Testowy, title FV nr 123, amount PLN 0.01 and a choice of banks: Revolut, Alior, PKO BP, Pekao, Erste Bank Polska, mBank.
This is Fizen when you pay from your bank account: you choose your bank and approve the transfer there.

Why you see Fizen

We are the open banking provider for the app you use. That app does not connect to banks itself, it does so through Fizen.

That is why you see our logo when you connect an account or pay, and why your bank shows Fizen as the company asking for access.

What happens when you log in

  1. Step 01

    You choose your bank

You pick the bank where you have an account from the list.

  2. Step 02

You log in to your bank

You go to your bank's website or app and log in as usual.

  3. Step 03

    You choose accounts

You select which accounts to share and confirm it in your bank.

Fizen never sees your login or password. You only enter them at your bank.

What you share

We will never make a payment from your account without your separate consent. You approve every transfer yourself in your bank.

  • The balance of the selected accounts
  • The transaction history of those accounts
  • Account holder data: name, address, account number

Every 180 days

The rules (PSD2) say that consent to access an account lasts at most 180 days. After that it has to be renewed.

So every six months you may get an email from us or from the app asking you to renew. One confirmation in your bank is enough. If you do not renew, access simply expires.

Is it safe

Yes. Fizen is supervised by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority as an account information service provider (no. AISP13/2022) and follows PSD2 and the GDPR. We connect to banks only through their official APIs.

Frequently asked questions

Can Fizen take money from my account?

No. No transfer leaves your account without your approval in your bank.

How does Fizen have my email address?

From the app where you connected your account. We use it only for matters related to your consent.

I got an email about renewing consent. Is it a scam?

A real email from us never asks for your banking password. If in doubt, do not click the link: log in to the consent dashboard by typing the address yourself.

What if I do not renew consent?

Nothing bad happens. The app simply loses access to your account data.

I don't remember connecting my account. What should I do?

Log in to the consent dashboard or write to us. We will check which app the consent was given through and help you revoke it.

Can I see what data you fetched?

Yes. Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data. Write to us and we will prepare a summary.
